Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musical family on 9 August 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. When she was a little girl, Houston began singing professionally in the church choir. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mother. The singer went on to sing back vocals to Jermaine and Lou Rawls as well as her own mother and was briefly models for the front cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. She began working as a vocalist in the band Material. the band from New York called Material and it was the high quality of her singing with them that attracted the attention of major record companies, such as Arista with whom she signed in 1983 and where she stayed for the rest the duration of her career. Whitney Houston, her debut album, released in 1985 was the highest-selling album for a debut singer. Songs like The Greatest Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Good Love, and Save all My Love were all released from the album. The songs allowed Houston to reach 7 US top tens that surpassed even those of The Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies during its initial season in the US and then went on to achieve a worldwide sales of 25 million, earning her the first of her six Grammys. The Whitney sequel in 1987, featuring the singles Where Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to expand on the popularity of her first album. But it was, the 1992 movie The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most loved artist. The Bodyguard's performance as a film and its soundtrack were not well-received, her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as the album accompanying it were top of the charts across the world for several months. Also in 1993 that she married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition musician who gave the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. At this point the drug use was documented, and she was able to use it regularly in 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American reporter anchorwoman as well as political correspondent for CNN. She also produces several of the network's Saturday shows like for instance Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels before, including NBC as well as CBS. Bash received a Women in Washington Power List honor from Elle magazine. She is known for her incredible anchoring and reporting skills she is admired by young journalists in the field. She is a George Washington University graduate is an adoring mother of one son. The couple was divorced twice and she is now married. Bash who is a strong and independent woman, loves her fans wholeheartedly.
