Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz, birthed in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her home town. Michel Horowitz is her father as well as Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's mother and father have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder relocated together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There was no electricity. Ryder began to be a committed read because they had television. At the age of twelve, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. She landed her debut role on the large screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder endured bullying while in high school. She hoped that her career in acting would end this. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But she continued to chase the dreams she had. In 1988, the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in a variety of films. In 1993, she was awarded an Academy Awards for The Age of Innocence.
