Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay Brodie, was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn is a member of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, combined her literary abilities and outstanding research skills into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man was aware of My History appeared in 1945. The title was in response to a funeral address given in 1844 by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder Joseph Smith. The sermon stated: "You do not know who I am and have not seen my soul." No man knows my history. Truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn wrote the 29-year-old Fawn. Since then there have been at least three writers who have risen to this challenge. Some have deified and abused the man, and others attempt to identify the cause. The problem isn't the case that there's not enough documentation however they're wildly divergent. It is a difficult task to assemble these documents by separating the first-hand versions from third-hand copies and fitting Mormon accounts with those of non-Mormon people into a coherent collection. It is both exciting and educational. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens became immortalized through her work and the fruits of her research. Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974) as well as the posthumously Richard Nixon.
